This app came highly recommended by a parent who works with some of our math students! Students can manipulate fractions, interact with the problems and challenges, access narrated lessons, and much more! If you're teaching or learning fractions, this is a keeper!
Motion Math Zoom-FREE!
This app is a great tool for students as they build a foundation in place value. Students can manipulate screen by zooming in and out to place small and large numbers, which is great for differentiation.
Singapore Math-Free!
This app aligns with CCLS and includes multi-step problem solving, critical-thinking, and teaches perseverance to students. There is an app for grades 2-5.
TanZen-$.99
This app is so cool! Students can make amazing tangram puzzles using various pieces that they already are familiar with from Investigations Math!
Clocks4Kids-$.99
Using the analog clock, kids can choose the correct time as quickly as they can to beat their timed score.
Pop Math-$.99
This is great for practicing math facts. It allows the user to choose mult., division, add., or sub. and requires the student to be active in pairing a problem to the solution. Allows for multi-leveled interaction.
